The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ang scores with a hook to the body. Parker takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A big left from Ang misses.
Ang avoids the body shot from Parker.
Ang tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Parker was well out of range. Poor timing from Ang.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ang darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Daniel Parker has been cut.

Ang throws a shot from downtown. Parker moves away and avoids it.
Ang tries to bum rush Parker with a series of wild strikes but Parker uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Ang looks to land a combination but Parker avoids it well.

Parker takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
George Ang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ang shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Parker's guard.
