Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeffrey Tucker (ranked 98 p4p, 787 weight class) and Tim Bird (ranked 11 p4p, 107 weight class). Bird comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dragula - Rob Zombie kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeffrey Tucker!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Tim Bird!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tucker's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bird connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tucker scrambles back to his feet.

Tucker takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Tucker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Tucker drops his hands momentarily and Bird takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Tucker counters with a crisp one two that drops Bird! Tucker thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Bird to his feet! Bird is in big trouble!
