Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobojo Makoba (ranked 200 p4p, 893 weight class) and Al Bundy (ranked 32 p4p, 113 weight class). Makoba comes into the arena with Zilbacore 2097 blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bundy is pushing down on Makoba's leg trying to pass to half guard. Makoba is fighting to maintain full guard but Bundy has managed to sneak the leg through.

Bundy thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Makoba's head.
Makoba wants to improve his position but Bundy is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Makoba is looking to get back to full guard here but Bundy has managed to pass to side control instead.

Bundy is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Makoba knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

What can Bundy do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Bundy wants to get back to his feet.
Makoba is trying to stick to Bundy's back but Bundy is turning into Makoba. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Makoba's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bundy.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bundy has knee on belly momentarily but Makoba bucks him off and regains half guard.

Bundy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Makoba wants to improve his position but Bundy is controlling well.

Bundy is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Makoba is pressing down on Bundy's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bundy postures up in Makoba's guard and throws a big left but Makoba blocks it.
Makoba has control of Bundy's left arm, preventing Bundy from doing any damage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Al Bundy dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bundy fails with the takedown.
Bundy shoots for a double leg takedown but Makoba sprawls well. He's pushed Bundy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bundy walks into a straight right hand from Makoba.
Makoba scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Al Bundy has been cut.
Makoba throws an overhand right that drops Bundy like a sack of potatoes! Makoba dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
