Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pinarus Inventius (ranked 2000 p4p, 2017 weight class) and Petchuangtong Sitsongrit (ranked 208 p4p, 212 weight class). Pinarus Inventius has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Petchuangtong Sitsongrit!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inventius has managed to clinch.

Sitsongrit tries to throw a body punch but Inventius avoids it by throwing Sitsongrit back against the cage.

Inventius has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sitsongrit uses from the top position.

Inventius has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sitsongrit can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Inventius working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sitsongrit doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sitsongrit manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Sitsongrit not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
