Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Kenjiro Tokugawa (ranked 3537 p4p, 4314 weight class) and Bryant Smith (ranked 391 p4p, 409 weight class). Smith comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Television - Marquee Moon kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kenjiro Tokugawa could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Bryant Smith's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tokugawa rushes Smith and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
I was talking to Tokugawa's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Tokugawa lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Smith backwards.
Smith wants to break free but Tokugawa has control.
Smith tries to break free but Tokugawa pushes him back against the ropes.
Tokugawa lands a left hand.

Tokugawa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A big right from Smith misses.
Tokugawa cracks Smith with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Tokugawa throws a quick inside leg kick.
Tokugawa throws a low kick but Smith moves out of range easily.
Smith misses with an uppercut. Tokugawa saw that one coming.
Tokugawa swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Smith throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Smith swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tokugawa crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Smith - the referee stops the clock and Tokugawa gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Smith. Tokugawa manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tokugawa throws a leg kick but Smith checks it.
Tokugawa fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Smith checks it well.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Smith.
Tokugawa appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Smith takes one on the button.
Smith throws the left hand but Tokugawa avoids the punch easily.

Tokugawa misses with a hook. Smith ducked under it nicely.
Smith connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Nice uppercut there from Tokugawa.
Tokugawa thuds his shin into the meat of Smith's side.
Tokugawa throws a chopping leg kick but Smith manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Smith connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Smith tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Tokugawa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Smith.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Tokugawa does a little dance to reset his feet.

Smith throws a body shot but no joy.
Tokugawa fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Sloppy strikes from Smith. Those never looked like landing.
Tokugawa scores with a head kick. Smith tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Smith fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tokugawa manages to avoid it.
Tokugawa blocks the body kick.
Tokugawa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Smith.
Smith digs a good hook to Tokugawa's body.
Tokugawa takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Smith throws a sloppy head kick
and Tokugawa makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Smith takes a swing at Tokugawa's ribcage but misses.
Tokugawa dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Tokugawa throws a quick inside leg kick.
Tokugawa lands a nice shot that snaps Smith's head back.
Tokugawa lands a nice hook to Smith's body. Smith takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Tokugawa tried to counter with a leg kick but Smith avoided it.
Smith takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Smith has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tokugawa finds it's way round the side to connect with Smith's head.

Smith is trying to break the clinch but Tokugawa has him pressed against the ropes.
Tokugawa lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Smith is rocked!
Tokugawa creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Smith crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Smith face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! Tokugawa takes it with a brutal technical knockout!
