PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Chong Jr (ranked 3288 p4p, 3996 weight class) and Reston Weaver (ranked 360 p4p, 408 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chong Jr drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Chong Jr takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Chong Jr fails with an attempt to clinch.

Weaver gets tackled into the cage by Chong Jr. Chong Jr maintains the clinch.
Chong Jr is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Weaver gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
A nice right hand lands inside from Weaver.
A short uppercut from Weaver.

Weaver is fighting off a takedown attempt but Chong Jr is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Weaver to the mat. Weaver regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Chong Jr wants to control from the top but Weaver keeps moving.

Chong Jr drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chong Jr jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Weaver can do anything to dispel that myth.
Weaver wants to get back to his feet.

Chong Jr wants to take a breather but Weaver is having none of it.

Chong Jr is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Chong Jr wants to lay and pray for a moment but Weaver keeps working.

Chong Jr wants to take a breather but Weaver is having none of it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Chong Jr uses his free foot to push down on Weaver's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Weaver.
Chong Jr tries to control but Weaver wriggling away.

Chong Jr wants to finish this one by submission but Weaver is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Chong Jr.

You get the feeling that Weaver really doesn't like being in this position too much.
