Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Texiera with a poor takedown

and Stienz counters by clinching up.
Stienz is pressed up against the cage. Texiera has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Stienz down to the mat. Stienz avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Texiera shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stienz pinned against the cage. Stienz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Stienz drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Texiera defends it well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charles Texiera. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Stienz shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Texiera manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Stienz drops back looking for a leg! Texiera is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Texiera manages to kick Stienz off! Stienz jumps back into Texiera's guard.

Texiera working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stienz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stienz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
