PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chandler Warner (ranked 4414 p4p, 5487 weight class) and Dimon Boets (ranked 486 p4p, 536 weight class). Dimon Boets told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boets bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Warner's head backwards.
Boets goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Warner just misses with a punch to the body.
Dimon Boets seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boets works over Warner's head and body with a nice combination.
Warner takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Boets's coach down at Cherokees Island Elite Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Boets's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Boets lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
