Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Happy Hands (ranked 522 p4p, 1763 weight class) and Rogan Josh (ranked 49 p4p, 149 weight class). Hands comes to the cage accompanied by Pharoahe Monch- Simon Says. Josh has chosen Radar Love - Golden Earring as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Happy Hands!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Rogan Josh!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Josh defending well as Hands loads up on a big left hand.
Hands throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Josh throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hands avoids the body shot from Josh.
Hands lands a head shot.
Josh slips a jab from Hands.
Josh scores with a sloppy right hand. Hands should have avoided that one.
Hands gets tackled into the cage by Josh. Josh maintains the clinch.
Josh pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Hands is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Hands counters with a good low kick that Josh was not able to check.

and Hands counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Josh ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
The fighters circle momentarily. Josh darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Hands blocks a head kick by Josh.
Hands dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Hands takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Josh misses with a body kick.
Hands tries a head kick but it misses.

Hands lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Josh is rocked!
Josh tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Hands counters with a crisp one two that drops Josh! Hands thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Josh to his feet! Josh is in big trouble!
Josh is still on wobbly legs! Can Hands finish him?
Josh closes the distance and clinches.
Hands creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Hands's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
With the fighters up against the cage, Josh throws an elbow but misses.

Hands stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Hands escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Josh seems to have recovered his senses.
Josh forces Hands back against the cage and clinches.
Hands has a couple of punches blocked by Josh.
Hands on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hands looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Josh with a knee to the head.
It looks like Happy Hands has been cut.
Hands breaks from the clinch.
A lazy body kick from Hands
and Josh counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Josh looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Hands!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Josh tries to advance to mount but Hands instead regains half guard.
Hands has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Josh is on him like a limpet, forcing Hands back against the cage.

Hands struggles to land a body shot inside as Josh controls his hands.
Hands breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hands uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Josh.
Hands throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Josh dips to his left and cracks Hands with an uppercut!

and Hands counters with a stiff right hand.
Hands uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Josh.
Hands was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Hands misses with a hook. Josh ducked under it nicely.
Josh looks to land a right hand but Hands moved out of range.
Hands gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Josh throws an off balance right hand
and Hands counters with a nice uppercut.

Hands throws a lazy head kick
enabling Josh to counter with a crisp jab.
Hands is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Josh's corner calls for a 1-2. Josh obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Hands uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Josh.
Josh misses with a right hand
and Hands counters with a nice body kick.
Josh throws a big shot that misses.
Josh doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Happy Hands is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Josh avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Josh with the counter takedown but Hands avoids it easily.

Hands takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Josh takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

It looked like Hands wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Hands lands a leg kick that knocks Josh off balance momentarily.
Hands looks to land a combination but Josh avoids it well.

Rogan Josh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Josh fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Happy Hands has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rogan Josh.
Josh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hands moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Josh ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hands moves away.
Hands moves away from the strike by Josh.
Hands quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Josh shoots in for a double leg but Hands sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hands lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Hands takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Josh misses the body punch
and Hands counters with a nice right hand that sends Josh toppling to the canvas! Josh scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Hands finish him?!

Hands fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Josh checks it well.
Hands fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Josh has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Josh uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Josh shoots in for a takedown but Hands shows good takedown defense.

Josh throws a body shot but no joy.
Hands throws a counter high kick but Josh was just alert enough to avoid it.
Hands moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Hands drops Josh with a naaaaasty hook - Josh is in real trouble here! Hands dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Our winner, Happy Hands, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
Rogan Josh spoke after the fight, saying 'If you ever start taking things too seriously, just remember that we are talking monkeys on an organic spaceship flying through the universe!'.
