Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Louis (ranked 5317 p4p, 1954 weight class) and Sean Pereira (ranked 477 p4p, 243 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Louis cracks Pereira with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

A little feinted left hand from Louis on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Louis is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Pereira tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Louis paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The crowd cheers as Louis lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pereira doesn't seem phased though.

and Louis rattles Pereira with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Pereira tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Louis dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Pereira stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Joe Louis!
