Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kaiden Thibodeaux (ranked 1159 p4p, 1823 weight class) and Liwa Kursiwa (ranked 86 p4p, 134 weight class). Thibodeaux's entrance music is Scotty x D4L. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kaiden Thibodeaux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Liwa Kursiwa!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kursiwa uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Thibodeaux.
Thibodeaux tries a head kick but it misses.
Kursiwa scores with a hook to the body. Thibodeaux takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kursiwa keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Thibodeaux.
Kursiwa throws a nice looking combination but Thibodeaux bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Thibodeaux throws a right hand that Kursiwa ducks under and follows up with a left that Kursiwa also avoids with ease.
Thibodeaux walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Nice defenses there by Kursiwa.

We've been told by Thibodeaux's head coaches at Gold Samurai's Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kursiwa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Thibodeaux avoids it really well and circles away.
Thibodeaux looks to throw the jab but Kursiwa is out of range.
Kaiden Thibodeaux is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kursiwa moves out of range as Thibodeaux strikes.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kursiwa.

and Kursiwa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kaiden Thibodeaux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thibodeaux throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kursiwa tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Kursiwa displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Thibodeaux throws out the jab.
Thibodeaux swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Thibodeaux lands a brutal uppercut that launches Kursiwa off his feet! Kursiwa tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

A less than humble Kaiden Thibodeaux misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
