Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Judo Dan (ranked 2010 p4p, 2366 weight class) and Lou Parisini (ranked 246 p4p, 284 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Judo Dan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lou Parisini!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parisini lands with a nice body punch.
Dan throws a jab when Parisini was well out of range.
Dan throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Parisini to counter with a crisp jab.
Dan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Parisini.
Parisini doesn't manage to clinch there - Dan circles away.
Parisini swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Parisini pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Parisini throws out a loose jab but Dan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Parisini bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dan's head.
Parisini fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dan on the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parisini is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dan swats away the attempt to clinch by Parisini.
Dan is looking to counter punch.

Parisini jabs at Dan's body.
Lou Parisini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Parisini does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Dan swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Parisini lands a lovely overhand right.
Parisini catches Dan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Parisini connects with a crisp jab.
Parisini with a lazy takedown attempt
and Dan counters with a nice body shot.
Parisini ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dan moves away.
Parisini looks to score with a jab to the body but Dan is just out of range.
Parisini gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Dan counters with a nice uppercut.
Dan is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Parisini.
Parisini throws a right hand that misses
and Parisini takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dan defending well as Parisini loads up on a big left hand.
Parisini has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dan takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Parisini looks to throw the jab but Dan is out of range.
Dan moves away from the strike by Parisini.
It looked like Dan was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Parisini.
Parisini connects with a right hand. Dan shakes it off.
Nice cross by Dan.
Parisini scores with a jab to the body.
Parisini tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dan swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Parisini wants to clinch.

The fighters circling - Dan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Parisini tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Parisini is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dan.
Parisini tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dan was well out of range. Poor timing from Parisini.
Donk. Parisini catches Dan right on the button with a cross.

It looks like Judo Dan has been cut.
Parisini takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Dan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fighters circling - Parisini throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dan misses with a straight left.
Dan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A little feinted left hand from Dan on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Parisini misses with a hook to the body

and Dan counters with a crisp one two that drops Parisini! Dan thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Parisini to his feet! Parisini is in big trouble!
