The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cervantes is trying hard to land a takedown here. Zelda sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Zelda misses with a looping left.
Cervantes throws a nice looking combination but Zelda bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Zelda scores with a one two! Cervantes had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Cervantes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Cervantes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zelda is fending him off so far but Cervantes persists. Nope, Zelda circles away and we're back to standing.
It looked like Zelda wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Zelda rattles Cervantes with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Cervantes tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Zelda dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Cervantes stiff and motionless on the mat!

After winning the bout, Deveon Zelda thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
