Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adonis Ford (ranked 2430 p4p, 2301 weight class) and Freaky Igor (ranked 235 p4p, 224 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Adonis Ford has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Adonis Ford seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Freaky Igor!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ford moves into the clinch.
Ford is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Igor to keep the fight standing.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Igor breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ford throws a shot from downtown. Igor moves away and avoids it.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Igor.
Freaky Igor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ford keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Igor throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ford is looking to clinch.
Ford throws a jab when Igor was well out of range.

Igor moves out of range of the strikes.
It seemed like Igor was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Igor is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ford.
Ford tries to counter by clinching up but Igor breaks away and moves out of range.

and Igor connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ford throws an overhand right that lands on Igor's shoulder, as Igor tries to avoid the shot.
Igor moves into range and connects with a jab.
Igor throws a lazy right hand but Ford sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Igor uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ford.
Igor misses with a kick to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Igor, as that shot connected.
Igor gets tackled into the cage by Ford. Ford maintains the clinch.
Igor lands a right hand.
Ford tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Igor just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adonis Ford. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ford fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Igor stalling in the clinch but Ford improves position.

Ford gets control of Igor's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ford will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Igor has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ford to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Igor is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ford pulls down on the head and he's put Igor to sleep! This one is all over!
