The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lingfield moves into the clinch.
Lingfield drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Nik gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Lingfield has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Nik after a bit of a struggle.
Aleks Nik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Lingfield.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Nik holds on and takes a little breather.
Nik's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Lingfield stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nik swivels though and keeps the full guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Lingfield working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Nik holds on and takes a little breather.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Nik takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Lingfield throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lingfield changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nik tries to avoid it but Lingfield manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nik to the ground. Nik escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Nik lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Nik stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nik knocks out Lingfield with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Nik before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Nik picks up the big W with a huge KO!
