Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Motshan Bogachev (ranked 2418 p4p, 2623 weight class) and Marchrius Rossi (ranked 236 p4p, 251 weight class). Rossi has chosen Metal Slug Theme as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rossi loads up on a big right hand but Bogachev slips the punch.
Bogachev tried to counter with a leg kick but Rossi avoided it.
Bogachev throws a leg kick that misses.
Bogachev looks to land a left hand but Rossi moved out of range nicely.
Bogachev displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rossi throws out the jab.
Nice uppercut there from Rossi.
Rossi takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The fighters circling - Rossi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bogachev was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Bogachev misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rossi looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Bogachev throws out a leg kick but Rossi moves out of range and Bogachev only half commits.
Motshan Bogachev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bogachev throws the kick towards the body but Rossi avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Bogachev takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bogachev throws a front kick aimed at Rossi's knee but Rossi avoids it well.
Rossi takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Rossi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bogachev works the jab nicely.

Rossi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Rossi misses with an uppercut. Bogachev saw that one coming.
Bogachev bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rossi jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Rossi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bogachev.
Bogachev takes a jab right on the kisser.
Rossi takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Bogachev finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Rossi stuns Bogachev with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Rossi goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
A low kick from Bogachev is predictable there
and Rossi counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Bogachev off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Rossi follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Bogachev was out before he hit the floor.

A relieved looking Marchrius Rossi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
