Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Van Franklin (ranked 25061 p4p, 3470 weight class) and Brugge Nusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nusa misses with a wild body shot.
Franklin tries to counter with a takedown but Nusa is quick to defend against it.
Franklin shoots in looking for a takedown but Nusa manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Franklin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nusa looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Franklin has hold of one of Nusa's legs. Nusa is fighting the takedown attempt but Franklin gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Nusa tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Franklin's elbow.

Franklin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nusa walks away with a smile on his face. Franklin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Nusa has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

BOOM! Nusa lands a beautiful left hook that drops Franklin. Franklin tries to recover but Nusa is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Franklin lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
