Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kaiden Walsh (ranked 1248 p4p, 2613 weight class) and Hideyoshi Yamasaki (ranked 162 p4p, 295 weight class). Yamasaki has chosen 2Pac - Only God Can Judge Me as his entrance music. Hideyoshi Yamasaki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kaiden Walsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hideyoshi Yamasaki!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walsh misses with a straight right.
Yamasaki looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Yamasaki takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Walsh slips a straight right by Yamasaki.
Walsh throwing a counter right hand but Yamasaki manages to avoid it.
Yamasaki misses with a hook.
Walsh misses with an uppercut.
Walsh blocks a jab.
The fighters circling - Walsh throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
We've been told by Walsh's head coaches at Canucks Combat Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Yamasaki will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Walsh swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Yamasaki counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nice defenses there by Yamasaki.
Yamasaki throws a looping overhand right but Walsh ducks down to avoid it.

Yamasaki's coach down at California Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Yamasaki's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Yamasaki misses with a jab, cross combination.
Walsh swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Yamasaki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Walsh moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Walsh slips a straight right by Yamasaki.
Walsh takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Walsh takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Yamasaki rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Walsh counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Yamasaki lands the left hand.
Some wild striking there from Walsh.
A slow jab from Walsh misses its intended target.
Walsh shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Yamasaki throws a lazy right hand but Walsh sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hideyoshi Yamasaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walsh looks to land a combination but Yamasaki avoids it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
