Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elo Mnusk (ranked 668 p4p, 1365 weight class) and Methuselah Honeysuckle (ranked 85 p4p, 177 weight class). Honeysuckle has chosen Dropkick Murphy's - Warriors Code as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mnusk fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Honeysuckle manages to avoid it.
A big right from Mnusk misses.
Mnusk definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Elo Mnusk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mnusk. Honeysuckle does a little dance to reset his feet.
Despite the aggression on Honeysuckle's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Honeysuckle fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mnusk looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Honeysuckle scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
A slow jab from Mnusk misses its intended target.
Honeysuckle misses with a low kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mnusk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Honeysuckle moves away.
It seemed like Honeysuckle was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
An inside leg kick from Honeysuckle misses.

Oooooh!!! Mnusk has knocked Honeysuckle down with a huge combo! Mnusk steps away and waves a wobbly Honeysuckle back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Honeysuckle is rocked!

It looks like Methuselah Honeysuckle has been cut.

Honeysuckle tries to get into range but Mnusk steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Honeysuckle! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Mnusk scores the big KO victory!

A very excited looking Elo Mnusk made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Methuselah Honeysuckle stepped up to the mic, saying 'A bump in the road, I'll be back better and hungrier!'.
