Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Traumen (ranked 255 p4p, 2596 weight class) and Zeke Hester (ranked 36 p4p, 252 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucas Traumen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zeke Hester!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hester looks to clinch
and Traumen counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Traumen jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hester walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Zeke Hester has been cut.
Hester tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Traumen paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hester closes the distance looking to clinch
and Traumen finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Hester tries to clinch there but Traumen circles away.

Hester closes the distance and clinches.
Hester pushes off an throws an elbow but Traumen leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Hester's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Traumen breaks from the clinch.
Traumen scores with a decent looking hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Traumen scores with a jab to the head.
Hester is looking to clinch but Traumen is avoiding it.
Traumen jabs Hester to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hester is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hester takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Traumen's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hester under the eye.

Hester takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Hester is rocked!
Hester tries to clinch but Traumen moves out of range.
Hester tries to close the distance and clinch up but Traumen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Traumen attempts a counter takedown but Hester avoids it well and moves away.
It looks like Traumen has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Traumen paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hester is still on wobbly legs! Can Traumen finish him?
Donk. Traumen catches Hester right on the button with a cross.
Hester tries to clinch up.
Traumen pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Traumen with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Hester tries to clinch but Traumen is having none of it.
Hester wants to clinch.
Traumen swats away the attempt to clinch by Hester.
Hester seems to have recovered his senses.
Traumen sizes up Hester with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hester tries to clinch but Traumen is having none of it.
Hester on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Hester wants to clinch up but Traumen keeps it at a distance.
Hester tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Traumen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hester looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Traumen throws a wild body kick that Hester sees coming a mile off.
Traumen misses the jab.
Traumen bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Zeke Hester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hester tries to clinch there but Traumen circles away.
Hester tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Traumen counters with a nice uppercut.
Traumen's corner calls for a 1-2. Traumen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Traumen circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Hester to the canvas! Hester doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Traumen keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lucas Traumen!
A very excited looking Lucas Traumen rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
