Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abdul Jcool (ranked 24236 p4p, 13293 weight class) and Rikkard Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jcool comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. Abdul Jcool could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rikkard Hanson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 34 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Abdul Jcool!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 39 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rikkard Hanson!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jcool throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hanson's waist but Hanson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jcool off to one side.

and Jcool counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hanson thinking.

Jcool closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jcool lands in his opponent's guard.
Jcool has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Jcool thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hanson misses with a takedown
and Jcool connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Abdul Jcool has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rikkard Hanson.
Hanson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Jcool lands a big head kick that sends Hanson tumbling to the mat! Jcool takes a step backwards and waves Hanson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Hanson is rocked!

Jcool shoots and scores a devastating slam takedown! Hanson is unconscious as Jcool celebrates over his stricken foe!

After the fight, Abdul Jcool was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
