The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braven checks a low kick from Jones.
Braven changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Jones throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Braven tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jones is in Braven's guard.
Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Braven has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though.

Braven has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Jones doesn't defend quickly enough and Braven has managed to lock this one up! Can Jones escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Braven on a fantastic submission victory.
