Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Russell Northrop (ranked 3135 p4p, 3826 weight class) and Omnicron Bilesdon (ranked 147 p4p, 182 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Russell Northrop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Omnicron Bilesdon!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Northrop with the inside leg kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Northrop.
Bilesdon tries to land a front kick but Northrop steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Northrop throwing a counter right hand but Bilesdon manages to avoid it.
Northrop defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bilesdon.
Bilesdon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Northrop jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Northrop swings for the body but Bilesdon moves out of range.
Bilesdon tries to clinch there but Northrop circles away.
Bilesdon fails in his attempt to clinch.
Northrop throwing a counter right hand but Bilesdon manages to avoid it.
Bilesdon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A left lands for Northrop.
Bilesdon avoids the head kick by Northrop.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bilesdon with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Northrop to score with a decent uppercut.
We've been told by Northrop's head coaches at MMAH League and Warrior Nation that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Northrop circles away from the clinch attempt.

Bilesdon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bilesdon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bilesdon's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bilesdon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Northrop working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bilesdon.
Bilesdon throws a big right hand that misses.
Bilesdon tries to free his leg and advance position but Northrop is retaining full guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Northrop throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Omnicron Bilesdon has been cut.
Northrop throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Northrop looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Northrop lands a big head kick that sends Bilesdon tumbling to the mat! Northrop takes a step backwards and waves Bilesdon back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Bilesdon is rocked!

Bilesdon steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Northrop. That one must have hurt.
Bilesdon is still on wobbly legs! Can Northrop finish him?
Bilesdon looks winded!
Northrop thumps Bilesdon with a low kick.
Are you kidding me?! Northrop ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Bilesdon clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

A relieved looking Russell Northrop thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
