Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hillbilly Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eishuu Retsu!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Retsu throws a lazy right hand but Walker sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A low kick from Retsu is predictable there
and Walker counters with a right hand to the body.
Retsu misses with a head kick.
Eishuu Retsu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walker throws a right hand that Retsu ducks under and follows up with a left that Retsu also avoids with ease.
Retsu misses with an uppercut. Walker saw that one coming.
Retsu walks into a straight right hand from Walker.
Retsu misses with a leg kick
and Retsu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Walker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Retsu is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Walker.
An inside leg kick from Retsu misses.
Walker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Walker lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Retsu misses with a body punch
and Walker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Retsu finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Walker lands a jab to the head.
Retsu throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Walker lands a slapping body shot.
Retsu throws a lazy head kick
and Retsu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Retsu fails to land with a series of punches.
Retsu misses with a double jab
and Walker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Retsu throws a right hand that misses
and Walker counters with a stiff right hand.
Retsu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Walker.
Walker looks to land a combination. Retsu sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Walker scores with a jab. Retsu acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Nice uppercut lands for Walker. That snapped Retsu's head back.
Walker blocks the body kick.
Retsu throws a sloppy head kick and Walker moves out of range easily.
Retsu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Walker lands with an uppercut that bounces Retsu off the cage and back into range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Walker misses with a wild combination.
Retsu scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Retsu misses with a kick to the body.
Walker throwing a counter right hand but Retsu manages to avoid it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Walker tests Retsu's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Walker walks forward, straight into a front kick from Retsu.
Retsu throws a sloppy head kick
and Walker counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Retsu's coach down at BANZAI COMBAT ACADEMY TOKYO was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Retsu's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Retsu misses with a left hand
and Walker counters with a nice body shot.
Walker fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Walker throws a good cross that connects.
Walker lands a nice shot to the body.
Retsu fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Walker has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Walker thuds his right hand into Retsu's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Retsu thows a leg kick but Walker checks it
and Walker counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Retsu is rocked!
Walker closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Retsu! Walker dives in looking to finish! Retsu is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hillbilly Walker!
Hillbilly Walker very nearly forgot to thank Uncle Rufus Clothing .Co amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
