The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waldron closes the distance but Chai moves to the side
and Waldron takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Bronze Bomber Chai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Chai scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Waldron to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

During a confident post fight interview, Bronze Bomber Chai thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
