Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Keller (ranked 4494 p4p, 4455 weight class) and Ashi Garami (ranked 441 p4p, 439 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nelson Keller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ashi Garami!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garami misses with a telegraphed body shot
letting Keller counter with a right hand.
Keller ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Keller went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Keller misses with the combination.
Keller fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Garami drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Keller defends it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Keller sizes up Garami with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Keller swinging wildly here.

Garami throws out a loose jab but Keller uses good head movement to avoid it.
Keller blocks a jab.
Garami feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Keller is looking to stand back up but Garami counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Keller.
Garami is looking to take a break and control but Keller is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Keller pushes Garami off looking to stand but Garami dives back in and keeps control.
Keller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Garami on the ground.

Garami thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Keller's head.
Keller tries to roll over but Garami keeps him under control.
Keller wants to get back to full guard but Garami has passed into side control.
Keller is trying to escape the position but Garami is controlling the position.
The ground and pound from Garami seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Garami is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Keller is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Keller is looking for a sweep.
Keller is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Garami has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Garami is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Keller knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Garami wants to lay and pray for a moment but Keller keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Keller is trying to work for a sweep but Garami has mounted him!
Keller is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Garami is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Keller has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Keller!
Keller is looking to work some ground and pound but Garami has wrist control.

Keller is posturing up here but Garami has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Keller tries to roll out but it's too tight and Keller has to tap! Slick submission there by Garami!
