The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dukes looks for a takedown but Griffith sprawls well.
Griffith scores with a jab. Dukes acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

It looks like Leroy Dukes has been cut.
Dukes has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dukes there as he acknowledges the shot.
Dukes throws a head kick that misses.
It looked like Griffith wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Griffith tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dukes sizes up Griffith with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like Dominic Griffith has been cut.
Griffith throws an overhand right that lands on Dukes's shoulder, as Dukes tries to avoid the shot.
Dukes slips a straight right by Griffith.

Griffith cracks Dukes with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Dukes looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Griffith finish him?

Dukes is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Griffith uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dukes.
Dukes is still on wobbly legs! Can Griffith finish him?
Dukes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dukes seems to have recovered his senses.
Dukes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Griffith.

and Griffith counters with a nice right hand that sends Dukes toppling to the canvas! Dukes scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Griffith finish him?!

and Griffith counters with a crisp right hand that drops Dukes! Griffith lets Dukes back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
