The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sabel as he avoids it easily.
Oliveira tries for a takedown but Sabel sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Diablo Oliveira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oliveira keeps the fight on the outside.
We've been hearing reports that Oliveira has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Sabel keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Oliveira shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sabel but Sabel pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sabel looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Sabel has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Sabel throws an overhand right that lands on Oliveira's shoulder, as Oliveira tries to avoid the shot.
Oliveira shoots in looking for a takedown. Sabel tries to sprawl out of it but Oliveira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sabel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sabel scores with the left hand. Oliveira knows he should have avoided that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sabel gets in close and tags Oliveira with a short punch that almost sends Oliveira to the mat! Oh Oliveira is in big trouble! He turns his back on Sabel, trying to create some distance but Sabel rushes him, striking wildly and Oliveira goes down! The referee tackles Sabel into the cage to end the fight! Sabel is one violent man!
