Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alberto Hicks (ranked 5831 p4p, 3673 weight class) and Wodin Vader (ranked 428 p4p, 336 weight class). Hicks comes to the cage accompanied by Father Stretch My Hands!. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alberto Hicks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wodin Vader!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hicks closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Vader quickly recovers to half guard.
Hicks looks to land a strike but Vader avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Hicks stopping the sweep attempt from Vader.
Hicks has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Hicks is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Vader told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Hicks scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Hicks distracts Vader with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Hicks won't allow Vader to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hicks throws an elbow that misses. Vader uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hicks's guard. Nice move by Vader!

Hicks not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Vader passes Hicks's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Hicks tries to roll over but Vader keeps him under control.

Vader is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hicks defends it well.
Hicks is looking to get back to full guard here but Vader has managed to pass to side control instead.
Hicks is trying to improve his position.
Vader just content to control the position.
Hicks is looking for a sweep.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Hicks can't do much from the bottom here.
Hicks tries to buck Vader off but Vader is having none of it.
Vader is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Vader passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Hicks!
Hicks is breathing heavily.
Vader looking to finish Hicks with some ground and pound. This is bad for Hicks!
Hicks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vader on the ground.

Hicks keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Vader postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Hicks badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Vader around the waist but Vader pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Vader is the winner by TKO! Vader jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
