Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Benny Darius (ranked 3271 p4p, 3105 weight class) and Sigurd Ragnarsson (ranked 311 p4p, 294 weight class). Darius's entrance music is In the Shadows - The Rasmus. A fine choice. Ragnarsson has chosen Twilight of the Thunder God as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sigurd Ragnarsson!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darius misses with a hook. Ragnarsson ducked under it nicely.
Darius misses the jab.
Benny Darius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ragnarsson slips a jab and a cross from Darius.
Ragnarsson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Darius manages to avoid it.
Ragnarsson throws a right and a left that Darius avoids nicely.

Darius missing with a left hand there. Ragnarsson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Darius slips a straight right by Ragnarsson.
Ragnarsson shoots in for a takedown but Darius shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ragnarsson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Darius defends well and Ragnarsson ends up having to push Darius into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A little feinted left hand from Darius on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Darius fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Darius walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ragnarsson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Darius throws a body shot but no joy.
A looping hook to the body misses from Darius. Ragnarsson does a little dance to reset his feet.

Ragnarsson tries a head kick but it misses.

Ragnarsson scores with a sloppy right hand. Darius should have avoided that one.
Ragnarsson throws a lazy right hand but Darius sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Darius swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Darius moves forwards but Ragnarsson connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Darius connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Ragnarsson gets a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ragnarsson misses with some punches.
Darius lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Darius's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ragnarsson misses with a wild combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ragnarsson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Darius sprawls well. Darius wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ragnarsson gets slowly back to his feet.
Darius is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Benny Darius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sigurd Ragnarsson.
Darius looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Darius looks to land a body kick but Ragnarsson moved away.
Darius throws a head kick that Ragnarsson semi-blocks.
Ragnarsson is rocked!
Darius fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Ragnarsson to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Ragnarsson looks to clinch but Darius throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Ragnarsson taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
