Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franciszek Zukowski (ranked 2796 p4p, 4475 weight class) and Blake Goodwire (ranked 335 p4p, 495 weight class). Goodwire has chosen Purge announcement as his entrance music. Blake Goodwire is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goodwire gets caught flat footed, as Zukowski shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Zukowski won't allow Goodwire to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Goodwire felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Zukowski is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Goodwire to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Goodwire shrugs it off.

and Zukowski counters with a series of strikes. Goodwire will be more careful next time no doubt.

Zukowski shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Goodwire pinned against the cage. Goodwire gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Goodwire throws a right and a left that Zukowski avoids nicely.

Zukowski decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Goodwire, up you get!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zukowski shoots in and bounces Goodwire off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
