Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Phillip Personal Space (ranked 2426 p4p, 1617 weight class) and Nurlan Karim (ranked 271 p4p, 194 weight class). Nurlan Karim will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Personal Space swings and misses with a shot to the body

Personal Space throws a body shot but no joy.
Personal Space throws a right and a left that Karim avoids nicely.
Karim walks into a left hand.
A jab from Personal Space misses.
Karim is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Personal Space moves out of range of the body kick.
A counter left hand to the body from Personal Space misses its target.
Karim comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Phillip Personal Space seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Karim feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Personal Spaces jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Karim tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Personal Space is able to avoid easily.

Karim was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

and Personal Space counters with a one-two to the body.
A jab from Personal Space misses.
Personal Space throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Karim stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Phillip Personal Space will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Karim scores with a head kick. Personal Space tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Personal Space closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Karim! Personal Space dives in looking to finish! Karim is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
