Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dana White (ranked 25173 p4p, 25273 weight class) and Jicheng Ruan (ranked 529 p4p, 551 weight class). Ruan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Alright. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dana White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jicheng Ruan!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White tries to clinch there but Ruan circles away.
Ruan unleashes a big counter combination but White bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
We've been hearing reports that White has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Ruan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but White can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
White stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ruan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Jicheng Ruan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Ruan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Jicheng Ruan tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
