Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Toti Rotiz (ranked 687 p4p, 1231 weight class) and Tristan Zigaro (ranked 95 p4p, 166 weight class). Rotiz comes to the cage accompanied by Southtown. Toti Rotiz has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Toti Rotiz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tristan Zigaro!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zigaro throws a wild body kick that Rotiz sees coming a mile off.
Rotiz swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Zigaro delivers a nice body kick.
A solid body kick from Zigaro.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rotiz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A little jabbing left from Zigaro on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
A head kick from Zigaro lands but Rotiz takes it in his stride.

It looks like Toti Rotiz has been cut.

Zigaro closes the distance and clinches.

Rotiz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zigaro misses with a jab, cross combination.
Zigaro jabs Rotiz to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Zigaro uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Zigaro fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rotiz.

Zigaro throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zigaro lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Zigaro tries to land a front kick but Rotiz steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Rotiz is looking to counter the offense by Zigaro and move into the clinch.
Crunch! Zigaro slams his shin into Rotiz's torso.
Rotiz throws a nice looking combination but Zigaro bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rotiz with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Zigaro to score with a decent uppercut.
Zigaro throws out a loose jab but Rotiz uses good head movement to avoid it.

Rotiz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zigaro is fending him off so far but Rotiz persists. Nope, Zigaro circles away and we're back to standing.

It looked like Rotiz was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Zigaro.

and Rotiz counters with a three punch combo that has Zigaro backing up. Zigaro nods at Rotiz to acknowledge the strikes.
Zigaro connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rotiz. Rotiz circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Zigaro buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Zigaro throws a wild body kick that Rotiz sees coming a mile off.
Rotiz was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
A decent looking cross lands there for Rotiz.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zigaro throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rotiz tries to counter by clinching up but Zigaro breaks away and moves out of range.

It looked like Rotiz wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Rotiz feints and as Zigaro raises his hands in defense, Rotiz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zigaro wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Zigaro, as that shot connected.

Toti Rotiz's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Rotiz takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rotiz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Zigaro lands a big head kick that sends Rotiz tumbling to the mat! Zigaro takes a step backwards and waves Rotiz back to his feet - he wants the finish!
