Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fortuna.
Anderson wants to counter with a clinch but Fortuna pushes him away.

Anderson instigates a clinch.

Anderson pulls Fortuna into guard.
Anderson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Fortuna content to stall in guard here.
Fortuna loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fortuna prevents Anderson from getting back to his feet.
Anderson working a defensive guard but Fortuna manages to pass into side control anyway.
Anderson managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Fortuna.

Fortuna tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Fortuna could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fortuna sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Anderson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Fortuna misses with the ground and pound.
Anderson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fortuna wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Anderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fortuna. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fortuna stands up.
Fortuna throws a head kick that Anderson semi-blocks.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Fortuna! Anderson is out on his feet! Fortuna rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Anderson is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Anderson is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
