PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tekashi Six Nine (ranked 348 p4p, 458 weight class) and Nick Jackson (ranked 25 p4p, 34 weight class). Six Nine kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is KIKA - Tekashi 6ix9ine. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tekashi Six Nine !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Six Nine takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jackson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Jackson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Six Nine is trying to defend but Jackson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Jackson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Six Nine with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Six Nine manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tekashi Six Nine will probably get the nod.
