Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Block Boldin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Block Boldin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexander Rose! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boldin misses with a double jab.
Rose lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boldin circles away quickly and effectively. Rose throws a left and a right that both miss
and Boldin counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rose's guard now. Boldin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Rose avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Boldin gets to his feet. Rose looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Rose throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rose pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boldin has closed the distance and engaged Rose in a clinch.
Boldin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rose throws a sloppy head kick and Boldin moves out of range easily. Boldin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Boldin wants to pass the guard but Rose is keeping the position. Boldin trying to control but Rose is working from the bottom. Boldin stops Rose from standing up. Boldin looking to sit in guard and control but Rose gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Rose stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boldin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rose wanted to stand there but Boldin had control of the position. Rose preventing the sweep. Boldin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Boldin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A nice right hand lands inside from Boldin. Rose looks gassed! Rose tries to circle away but Boldin has him pinned against the cage. Boldin scores with an uppercut up the middle. Boldin lands a hook that snaps the head of Rose backwards. Rose tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Boldin smiles and moves away.
Boldin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Boldin lands in his opponent's guard. Boldin trying to control the position from guard on top but Rose is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boldin working some strikes from top position. Boldin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Boldin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Boldin postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Boldin showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Boldin working some strikes from top position. Rose keeping moving, preventing Boldin from controlling successfully. Rose should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Boldin is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boldin postures up and lands a big shot to Rose's brow. Boldin distracts Rose with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Boldin lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Boldin controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Boldin forces his way into half guard. Boldin frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boldin lands a big elbow. Boldin looking to control but Rose is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Boldin working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Rose turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Boldin off and cradles Rose's limp body as Boldin celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Block Boldin!
