Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mmm Mmm (ranked 23293 p4p, 5898 weight class) and Zambosurian Inday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Mmm Mmm has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 104 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mmm Mmm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 74 - 52 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zambosurian Inday!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Mmm throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Inday was covering up waiting for the punch and Mmm finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mmm sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Mmm being controlled here momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Inday being controlled here, momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Inday has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mmm trying to control the position from guard on top but Inday is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Inday shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mmm napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Mmm seems a little lost for a moment, as Inday dominates the positioning.

Mmm wants to control but Inday postures up.

Mmm can't do much from the bottom here.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Inday controls the position from side control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Inday moves out of range of the body kick.
Inday fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Inday leaves Mmm with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Inday thinks about the counter body kick.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Mmm Mmm will probably get the nod.
That's time! Mmm's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Inday gets the takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mmm can't do much from the bottom here.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mmm is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Inday is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Mmm drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Mmm loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Mmm stays in close to Inday's body and controls the position.
Inday seems keen to control Mmm's posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Inday dives in and grabs Mmm's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mmm pushes down on Inday's head and hops out.
And Mmm counters with a quick kick to the body but Inday blocks it.
Inday shoots for a double leg takedown but Mmm sprawls well. He's pushed Inday's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Inday.
Mmm thinks about countering with a body kick.
Mmm Mmm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zambosurian Inday.
Inday fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mmm fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Zambosurian Inday will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Mmm avoids a kick to the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Inday.
Mmm is looking to counter with a body kick.

Mmm closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Inday to the mat! Inday manages to get full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mmm throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Inday works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Inday can do anything to dispel that myth.

Inday seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Inday looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Inday is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Zambosurian Inday has got the better of the ground game so far.
Mmm trying to control the position from guard on top but Inday is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Inday looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mmm is fending him off so far but Inday persists. Nope, Mmm circles away and we're back to standing.
Mmm shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Inday pinned against the cage. Inday gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Inday closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mmm's guard.
Inday slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Mmm wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mmm is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Mmm is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

I would just about give that final round to Zambosurian Inday.
I think Inday has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
