Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Juan Corona (ranked 1457 p4p, 1318 weight class) and Klaus Chugman (ranked 118 p4p, 110 weight class). Corona comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Baby, Lil Durk - How It Feels. Juan Corona has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 25 - 3, fighting out of London, Juan Corona!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 47 - 46 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Klaus Chugman!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chugman tries to clinch up.
Chugman has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Corona throws out a loose jab but Chugman uses good head movement to avoid it.
Chugman is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Chugman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Corona to the mat! Corona manages to get full guard.
Chugman's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Corona looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Corona is trying to keep Chugman in close.
Chugman sitting in guard here, content to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Corona controls Chugman momentarily but Chugman frees himself.
Chugman lands a couple of decent looking shots.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Juan Corona seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Corona is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Chugman throws a body shot but no joy.
Chugman takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Chugman has his takedown stuffed
and Corona counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Corona punishes Chugman's body with a nice straight punch.

Chugman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Corona, pushing him back against the cage.
Corona looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Chugman is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Corona gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Chugman throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Coronas head.
Chugman misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Corona breaks the clinch.
Corona really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Corona is looking to land body kicks.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Corona tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chugman was well out of range. Poor timing from Corona.
Corona throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chugman drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Corona defends it well.

Chugman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Chugman is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Corona is trying to get back to full guard.
Chugman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Chugman content to control rather than advance.
Corona tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Chugman has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Chugman is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Chugman with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Corona working to try and regain half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Chugman wants to control the pace but Corona is squirming around nicely.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Klaus Chugman dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Corona lands a nice looking body kick.
Corona takes a swing at Chugman's ribcage but misses.
Chugman drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Corona defends it well.
Corona ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chugman moves away.
Chugman closes the distance but Corona moves to the side
and Corona counters with a right hand to the body.
Chugman is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Corona swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Corona jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Chugman darts in and clinches Corona up against the cage.

Corona tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Chugman's elbow.
Chugman tries to throw a body punch but Corona avoids it by throwing Chugman back against the cage.
Chugman misses with a hook to the ribs.
Corona stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Chugman misses with a punch to the body.
Corona lands a shoulder strike.

Chugman gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Klaus Chugman has got the better of the ground game so far.
Chugman wants to control from the top but Corona keeps moving.

Corona working for submissions but it's allowed Chugman to get to half guard.
Chugman wants to control but Corona is keeping him busy.

Chugman might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Corona haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Corona is pressing down on Chugman's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Corona had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chugman defends it easily.
Chugman controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chugman trying to control but Corona is working from the bottom.
Corona can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Chugman controls the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Corona swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Chugman counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Corona!
Corona manages to get back to half guard.
Chugman throwing shots but Corona is blocking nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Chugman not doing much here.
Corona manages to get to full guard.

Chugman drops back looking for a leg! Corona is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Corona manages to kick Chugman off! Chugman jumps back into Corona's guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Corona has control of Chugman's left arm, preventing Chugman from doing any damage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Klaus Chugman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

The fight stays on the outside here - Chugman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Chugman counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Corona is looking for a triangle here but Chugman uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Corona is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Corona keeps Chugman under control for a moment.
Corona gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Juan Corona has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Corona is looking for a sweep. Chugman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Chugman controlling the action here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Chugman avoids the head kick by Corona.
Corona throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Chugman counters with a single leg into guard. Corona didn't expect that.
Chugman controlling from the top position.
Chugman trying to control the position from guard on top but Corona is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Corona wants to sweep but no luck.

Corona looking for a guillotine here but Chugman defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chugman stays in close to Corona's body and controls the position.
Chugman looking to sit in guard and control but Corona gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Chugman is trying to control the position but Corona postures up.
Corona working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

And that's the end of the fight!
Klaus Chugman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Chugman winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
