The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Abner is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but St Stone has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

St Stone is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Abner is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
St Stone tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
St Stone is not content to let Abner control the position.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Abner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Abner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. St Stone swivels though and keeps the full guard.

St Stone has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Abner doesn't defend quickly enough and St Stone has managed to lock this one up! Can Abner escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to St Stone on a fantastic submission victory.
