Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Old Striking (ranked 2716 p4p, 3850 weight class) and Dumbledore Calrissian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Striking comes to the cage accompanied by Hard Work Cadence. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Striking slips under a jab from Calrissian.
It looked like Striking wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Calrissian lands a head shot.

Calrissian changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Calrissian lands with an overhand left.

We've been told by Striking's head coaches at ubergym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Calrissian missing with a left hand there. Striking was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Calrissian moves out of range of the leg kick from Striking.

Calrissian bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Calrissian works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Striking tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Striking covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Calrissian lands shots from the back.
Calrissian has Striking flattened out and is raining down punches.

Striking wants to get back to his feet.
Calrissian biding his time, looking for the opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Striking is trying to get back to his feet but Calrissian has full control of the position and if anything, Striking has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Calrissian cracks Striking with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Striking from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Striking is rocked!
Calrissian lands a massive punch from the back that knocks Striking out cold! Calrissian jumps to his feet and celebrates wildly with his corner.
