Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Garry Waddle (ranked 2657 p4p, 2681 weight class) and William Riker (ranked 66 p4p, 145 weight class). Riker comes into a darkened arena with his song building. In The Summertime kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Garry Waddle could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to William Riker's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Garry Waddle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Riker! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riker scores with a punch to the head. Riker thows a left - swing and a miss! It looked like Waddle was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Waddle wants to clinch.
Waddle closes the distance and clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Riker struggles to land a body shot inside as Waddle controls his hands.

Riker throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Waddle stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Waddle tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Riker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Waddle tries to clinch up but Riker circles away and keeps his distance. Riker throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Waddle sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Riker gets a clinch. Riker is trying to drag Waddle to the mat but Waddle just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Riker goes for a takedown in the clinch but Waddle prevents it.

Waddle gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Riker misses with a looping right. Waddle tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Riker counters with a takedown into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Waddle is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Riker decides to stand back up. Riker steps back and let's Waddle get back to his feet. Riker looks to score with a jab to the body but Waddle is just out of range. Waddle was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Riker shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Riker swings away with a body shot that misses
and Waddle counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. A looping hook to the body misses from Riker. Waddle does a little dance to reset his feet. Waddle went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Waddle keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

William Riker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Waddle is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Riker. Riker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Waddle is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Waddle manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Riker has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Waddle seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Riker can turn it around. Riker is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Waddle pulls him back up using the underhooks.
And that's the end of the fight! William Riker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Riker has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
