Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tokoni Soaki (ranked 1032 p4p, 587 weight class) and Gigi Woerner (ranked 124 p4p, 73 weight class). Soaki kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Le Manu - Shepherds Reign. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gigi Woerner!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soaki has his takedown stuffed
letting Woerner counter with a right hand.

Woerner throws a good cross that connects.

Soaki walks forward, straight into a front kick from Woerner.
Woerner throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Soaki sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Gigi Woerner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Woerner tries to sprawl but Soaki drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Soaki is stalling here. Woerner is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Soaki seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Woerner has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Soaki shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Woerner sprawls well. Woerner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Soaki gets slowly back to his feet.

Soaki looks to land a left hand but Woerner moved out of range nicely.

Woerner has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Woerner drops Soaki with a naaaaasty hook - Soaki is in real trouble here! Woerner dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
