Vitalik's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Planet Purge - Midnight Tyrannosaurus & Ehide. Vadius Highwind has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Musa Vitalik's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Highwind is looking to clinch.
Musa Vitalik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vitalik scores with a jab to the jaw.
Highwind throws a series of punches but Vitalik moves out of range.
Vitalik changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Vitalik goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The fight stays on the outside here - Highwind looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Highwind takes one to the chin there.
Highwind swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Highwind fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Vitalik is out of range.

Vitalik feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vitalik accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Vitalik has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Highwind is trying to control the position but Vitalik postures up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Highwind keeping moving, preventing Vitalik from controlling successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Highwind looks to score with a jab to the body but Vitalik is just out of range.
Vitalik lands a right hook to the body.
Vitalik lands a nice shot to the body.
Highwind throws a big shot that misses.

and Highwind counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vitalik. Highwind does a little dance to reset his feet.
Highwind appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Vitalik looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Highwind is trying to maintain the position but Vitalik is very close to passing his half guard.

Vitalik wants to take a breather but Highwind is having none of it.
Highwind is trying is best to control the position here.

Highwind really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vitalik. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
