Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 48 - 37 - 0, fighting out of London, Zeta Knox!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keji lands a right hook to the body.
Keji throws a lazy uppercut
and Keji takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Keji paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Zeta Knox has been cut.
A big left from Keji misses.
Knox let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Keji takes a swing at Knox's ribcage but misses.
Knox swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Knox uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Keji.
Keji misses with a body shot
enabling Knox to counter with a crisp jab.
Keji misses with a straight right.
Keji really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Keji loads up on a big right hand but Knox slips the punch.

It seemed like Knox was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Keji throws a hook to the side of Knox's head but Knox sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Knox! But no joy.
Keji cracks Knox with a good jab.
Keji ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Knox moves away.
Keji misses with a lunging right hand
and Knox counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Keji takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Knox ducks under a wild hook from Keji.
Keji misses with a hook.
A countering left hand to the body from Knox misses.
Keji misses with a straight right.
Abdul Keji seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Keji fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Knox manages to avoid it.
Knox now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Keji swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A looping hook to the body misses from Keji. Knox does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Knox counters with a nice right hand that sends Keji toppling to the canvas! Keji scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Knox finish him?!

Keji is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Knox ducks under a wild hook from Keji.
Oh Keji is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Keji misses with an uppercut. Knox saw that one coming.
Keji seems to have got his legs back now.
Keji cracks Knox with an open hand slap.
Keji lands with a good body shot.
Keji connects with a body shot.
Keji is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Knox.

Keji misses with a left hand
letting Knox counter with a right hand.

Keji feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Knox sprawling to the canvas! Knox rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Keji finish him?!
Keji misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Knox connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Keji connects with a single shot there.

Knox is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Keji misses the jab.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Knox! But no joy.
Knox is still on wobbly legs! Can Keji finish him?
Nice defenses there by Knox.
Knox seems to have recovered his senses.
Knox moves away from the strike by Keji.
Knox throws a counter combo.
Keji circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Knox to the canvas! Knox doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Keji keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Abdul Keji!
After winning the bout, Abdul Keji thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
