The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cowan takes a swing at Preston's ribcage but misses.
Cowan gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Preston misses with a looping left.
Cowan shoots for a double leg takedown but Preston sprawls well. He's pushed Cowan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A jab and a right hook connect and Cowan buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Cowan!! Cowan is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Preston throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
