Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Justice Kingston (ranked 2368 p4p, 3265 weight class) and Wodin Vader (ranked 268 p4p, 339 weight class). Justice Kingston has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Justice Kingston!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wodin Vader!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vader shoots in but no luck this time.
Kingston attempts a counter takedown but Vader avoids it well and moves away.
Vader misses with a double jab.

Kingston pushes Vader up against the cage in a clinch.

Kingston pulls guard.
Kingston working a defensive guard here.
Kingston is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Vader connects with a couple of short punches.
Kingston is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kingston is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Vader has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Vader really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kingston. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kingston is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Vader to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Vader shrugs it off.

Kingston has hold of Vader's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Vader manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Kingston can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Vader is looking to escape.

Kingston goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Vader turns into him and now he's in Kingston's guard.
Vader wants to control from the top but Kingston keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Kingston has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vader can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Vader tries to free his leg and advance position but Kingston is retaining full guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kingston holds on and takes a little breather.
Vader is stalling in the full guard.
Kingston is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vader trying to control the position from guard on top but Kingston is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Vader must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kingston has his foot on Vader's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vader works his way back into a safe position though.

Kingston instigates a clinch.
Kingston is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Vader can do to turn this around?
Kingston is trying to pull guard but Vader turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Kingston tries to score a body lock takedown but Vader shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Vader.
Vader is looking to control Kingston's arms but Kingston gets an underhook and turns him. Now Vader has his back to the cage.
Vader looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Kingston blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Kingston is trying to drag Vader to the mat but Vader just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kingston is defended easily by Vader.
Kingston tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vader swivels and escapes.

Justice Kingston overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kingston connects with a nice short shot to Vader's temple.

Vader is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kingston wants to control but Vader is keeping him busy.

Kingston is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Vader has managed to free his arm - good work.

Kingston has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Vader defend it? Kingston steps over the head and cranks it - Vader is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kingston!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Justice Kingston!

A relieved looking Justice Kingston thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
