The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adesanya slips under a jab.
Lopez scores with a hook to the body. Adesanya takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Lopez forces Adesanya back against the ropes and clinches.
Adesanya tries to land knees in the clinch but Lopez avoids the damage to the body.
Lopez with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Adesanya throws a knee to the head but misses.
Lopez working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Lopez looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Lopez lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Adesanya's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Lopez scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Lopez throws a big uppercut that drops Adesanya! More strikes from Lopez and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Adesanya lies dazed against the ropes as Lopez celebrates with his cornermen!

Diego Lopez decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
