The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fontaine throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Torres.
Torres appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Torres has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gumburcules Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Torres lands a jab to the head.
Torres lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Torres throws a lazy right hand but Fontaine sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Torres lands the left hand.
Torres clobbers Fontaine with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fontaine ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Torres lands a big shot that drops Fontaine! Can he finish him?

It looks like Luc Fontaine has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fontaine wants to sweep here but Torres controlling him for the moment.
Torres controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Torres pushes down on Fontaine's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Fontaine wants to improve his position but Torres is controlling well.

Torres is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Torres is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fontaine doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Torres.

Torres in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Fontaine tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Torres!
