Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Konstanty Pankowski (ranked 4344 p4p, 4428 weight class) and Matheus Cardoso (ranked 431 p4p, 435 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cardoso dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

The referee is keeping an eye on Pankowski - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Pankowski throws a body punch but Cardoso moves out of range.

Cardoso will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
It looked like Pankowski was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Cardoso.
Pankowski is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Cardoso takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Cardoso will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pankowski is looking to wear down Cardoso with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cardoso sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pankowski's guard.

Cardoso looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pankowski with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
